It’s the part most analysis skips right past, and it’s the part I’ve spent my whole career on.
That career started in research. I’m a published scientist in ecology, evolution, and conservation, with work that’s been cited well over a thousand times — years spent finding clear, defensible answers inside messy, real-world data. From there I moved into the classroom, teaching in a public school district, where the same work simply took a different shape: take something genuinely complicated and make it useful to the person who has to act on it. The consulting I do today is that same throughline, pointed at organizations and the decisions in front of them.
